Wreck Tihany
Austro-Hungarian ship "Tihany" is great place for diving in Montenegro, but this dive site is only for experienced divers. "Tihany" is an Austria-Hungarian freight and passenger ship. In 1917 it was carrying coal and sunk because of the navigating mistake – it hit the Arza cape and sunk near the Mamula island in the Adriatic Sea. The length of the ship is 45 m, the width is 5 m. The ship “Tihany” is locating at a depth of 42 m. To dive on the ship "Tihany" it’s recommended to take an extra item of diving equipment - underwater lights. It’s a very popular and excellent wreck dive site in Montenegro because of it did not have serious injuries and the ship is still in very good condition and. It’s recommended to dive on "Tihany" to divers who prefer wreck diving.
